Brandon's love for the outdoors started in Pennsylvania where he grew up hiking, camping, kayaking and mountain biking with his dad and brothers. They hiked in their local day use area, Chiques Rock, and made sure to camp under the stars at least once every couple weeks. They took canoes and kayaks down sections of the Youghiogheny and Susquehanna rivers as well as the North Branch of the Potomac in WV.

After trips to Yosemite, Grand Teton and Grand Canyon National Parks, Brandon decided that the west coast would be a good place to blossom in the outdoors. Brandon moved to California in 2013 and has spent countless weekends perusing the trails and high peaks of Yosemite. He also fell in love with the eastern Sierra and all the wilderness it has to offer!

Brandon takes pride in knowing his backyard intimately and enjoys seeing the looks on people's faces when they see these spectacles for the first time!
